Former USC baseball player Geoff Jenkins (Philadelphia Phillies) became the 14th Trojan to be a member of a World Series champion. He is the third player coached by Mike Gillespie to win a World Series, joining pitcher Anthony Reyes and Randy Flores (St Louis Cardinals, 2006).
