Yes And No
You might recall this quote from Pete Carroll regarding a conversation he had with the Trojans at halftime of the Oregon State game.
``There was a little difference of opinion I asked did they feel they were stronger, tougher and more aggressive than you thought. Some said yes, some said no. They didn't have it nailed.''
We hear the conflicting answers came from linebackers Rey Maualuga and Brian Cushing.

So who said what?
This is similar to the demos and repubs blaming each other for the economy. What difference does it make, let's try to remedy it.
Same with the Oregon State game. Whether the SC boys thought Oregon State was tougher or not was beside the point; the fact is the line and 'backers were getting run over and were outplayed. Troy did better in the second half, but a 21-0 deficit is hard to overcome in college ball.
So let me get this straight. Two different guys who played different positions, and who went against different sets of OSU guys on most plays ... had different opinions about those different guys. Yeah, I think you're on to something there.
My take is that Rey is undisciplined and overruns his responsiblity - much like the Dems, whose overregulation and social engineering created the Fannie/Freddie contagion that blew up the economy. Cush, I believe, is disciplined and aggressively pre-emptive in his play, much like the Republican saviors of our democracy.
what a joke Repugs are; more than a coincidence that the 3 major bank failures in USA history were during their administration. And, how much is that criminal war costing ?
Even though he's a liberal, Pete can be clueless at times.
DFW--you are either an idiot or 12...and yes those are different things. Or maybe you're just kidding around because no one could truly be that stupid.
DFWT:
You must be amnesic. Spicer got that PF that gave OR ST a FD instead of KF. Remember OR ST got a TD following that PF. Read the LAT>Spicer got benched...
Whether you like it or NOT USC did NOT make any adjustments to OR ST run blocking. Please do your homework before you spout all that hot air verbiage...
