About Green
I have not weighed in with my own opinion on Broderick Green's transfer other to say it's good for him and not-so-good for USC. I was always a proponent of using him in a specific role (like short yardage) because it would keep him engaged and prevent him from being frustrated.
In two years, Green would be an extremely valuable member of the offense. But with so little playing time, he did not want to wait any longer. This could be a haunting decision for the Trojans.

Oh, Geez, Scott give me a break. If they used Green as only the short-yardage back you'd be screaming that the offense is predictable every time he comes into the game.
Well, that rationale surely has not been the case with the emmanuel moody relocation to florida - he is a non-event so far in gainesville.
maybe in time, but that same time can also apply to Green - it is just that his ego won't allow the situation to play itself out.
Anyone feel Stafon, CJ or Joe McK will remain for all 4 years? Watch Green and Tyler then step in to take over.
Green will do fine.
so will, Johnson, Gable, McKnight, Bradford, Tyler, McNeal.
USC is just fine.
It was always assumed there would be a problem with the many running backs being happy. As it is said, there is only one ball.
So the transfer situation is no 'stop the press' news.
And if you were to lose a running back, who would you rather have seen go?
Brod. was just too too slow---if he only had the speed that LenDale had, then it would be different.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Competition means there will be winners and losers. Brod can join fellow loser Moody and try it somewhere less competitive.
