Answer Monday! (Cont.)
Some quick hits in this section.
Q: How do you do? Scott, can you give anymore reason to why Isaac Lowenkron replaced Rory Markus/Steve Psysioc instead of the guy who writes his own wikipedia page (especially when USC football has a bye)? Has Arbogast commented since not being selected is there any grudge between him and the USC athletic dept? Is there any chance Pete Arbogast won't be the football announcer for USC in the future or does he have a long term contract?
PS. Maybe the Pac 10 basketball conference can be called the ESPNU conference, because the whole Puerto Rico tournament was on some channel that I couldn't get called ESPNU.
A: I've heard the same stuff relayed by Tom Hoffarth on his blog. Something was done to anger the wrong people regarding basketball. I'm not sure how the long the contract is for football announcing. But I will have Hoffarth look into it.
Q: You mentioned Mark Sanchez attended the Mission Viejo game. Is he allowed to talk to recruits or is there a rule against college athletes doing so?
A: If a player approaches him, he can speak to them. It's similar to when a recruit visits campus and talks to a player.
Q: Any truth to the rumor that Notre Dame is attempting to schedule University of Phoenix and Devry next season to assure some victories?
A: Only if the games can be scheduled at the Meadowlands.

I-Low is a talented up and comer, Arbogast is the Les Nesmann of NCAA announcers.
