And I bet that just broke your heart to see the Trojans at #5. You know deep down inside that you are just praying and fantasizing about an all SEC BCS title game. Fight On!
Proves the BCS formula is screwy.
9 SEC teams are not in the Top 25
That is a glitch that needs to be fixed.
If SC beats ND and UCLA by big scores; it appears that anything is possible!
1) Okla St is good and undefeated at home. OU is coming off an emotional will. Okla St wins at home.
2) Mizzu has been embarrassed by the Big-12 powers. But, the Big-12 Championship is in Mizzu, and a rematch against Texas. Chase Daniels is a great QB. Mizzu shocks Texas in the Big-12 Championship.
Florida routs Alabama, as we all expect. Ance, guess who's in the BIG GAME - SC vs Florida. What a game that would be! Hey, much stranger things have happened!
I like your thinking on this DFWT. I hope that it does work out that way. We'll see over the next couple of weeks how it plays out. Fight On!
Well hell Scott, where the F*&K is LSU. Did the BCS make another mistake?
Yes. Where is LSU. Never mind the four loses. They have quality wins against South Carolina and Troy.
Every season Scott seems to be irrationally enamored by one team. Remember a few years ago it was West Virginia.
DFW....one problem with your premise. If Ok State beats Oklahoma, then Texas Tech is the Big 12 South Champ. They would get the tie breaker against Texas since they beat them.
Aside from Oklahoma losing to Okl St, USC needs an upset along the way to get into the title game: Texas-Texas A&M, Texas Tech-Baylor, Fla-Fla St, and/or Ala-Auburn. Texas will mop the floor with the Aggies, who are just dreadful this year (they lost to Arkansas St!). I only mention Tech-Baylor, because if Okl St beats Okl, and Baylor upsets Bayor, then Texas has to play Missouri in the Big 12 Championship, and risks a second loss. But, I expect Tech to win that game in Lubbock.
Anything can happen Fla-Fla St and Ala-Auburn, although Florida looks more solid than 'Bama. The nightmare scenario would be if Fla clips Ala in the SEC finals, only to have Ala stay ahead of USC.
USC has a faint chance. Remember that LSU catapulted from No. 7 to No. 2 on the final week of the season. USC must rout ND and fUCLA to be considered. I also submit that USC needs the Beavers to lose to be crowned the outright Pac-10 champ.
Fight On!
All great points. Just think, 10 years ago we were just hoping USC would make the Sun Bowl. The Pete Carroll era has been awesome!
oops...if Baylor upsets Tech
That sec conference is awesome, the best in the land??OMG, where is lsu? what say you Scott?
