Computer Ranking
The BCS computers do not consider margin of victory, a fact that is hurting USC in the BCS race. This handicap can be seen in Jeff Sagarin's ratings. Sagarin's BCS-compliant, no-margin-of-victory ranking has the Trojans eleventh. But when the Sagarin computer factors in actual scores, USC shoots up to No. 1.

I wonder if beating a team by say 32 (tOSU), 34 (UO), or 28 (ASU) is more impressive than winning by a last second field goal. I know the NCAA wanted to eliminate running up the score to impress voters and computers, but if they put a capped margin of victory (say 28 points) that would go a long way towards making the computers a little more accurate.
