Cushing's Future
USC coach Pete Carroll said after talking to pro scouts, Brian Cushing will probably play inside linebacker in the NFL.

Cush!!!!!! Too bad that he's had some injuries and been overshadowed by Rey a bit in terms of publicity. Cush is a rock star. No one on the team flies around the field, literally, like Cush.
The way Pete has been coaching these guys all year, then to prepare them for the NFL and the NFL combine, I'm confident Cush will adapt very well. The Trojan alumni that have the longevity in the NFL and creating havoc for their counterparts, play defense, (ie) Polamalu, Patterson, Tatupu, Knight, McGinnest.........
Cush is a stud. We are going to miss that guy. I hope he returns a pick or fumble for a TD vs Notre Dame. He will show Weis what a real tough guy from Jersey reall is.
I believe that Rey would have been a better OLB. Cush has been awesome on those occasions that he has played inside; especially in pass coverage - similar to Tatupu.
