Maybe the answer is that Latinos in L.A. are tired of being marginalized and -- amazingly -- they mostly speak English, so they can watch the same TV stations everyone else does. Viva, Sanchez!
Maybe Pete " How Do You Do " Arbogas could line this up for a fee. I mean if he'll do your kids soccer game for a fee, why not this? He used to be married to a Latina, no?
I would be curious if Sanchez speaks Spanish or not as well. I have many Latino colleagues that do not speak it anymore than I do, however most folks assume they do habla. Many Hispanic parents in the 1970's chose assimilation in the suburbs over maintaining the native tongue in their kids. Of course, many regret the English-only decision as fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset in the So Cal job market and life in general.
Maybe TrojanTV's reps read this board too much and assume Mark Sanchez will be replaced as QB #1. They could be out looking for an announcer with a southern drawl.

Sadly you are the exception to the rule that Viet Nam Vets stick together, that is if you actually served. See Army Regulation (AR) 635-200, Active Duty Enlisted Administrative Separations. Chapter 5, paragraph 13. It governs the separation of personnel medically diagnosed with a personality disorder.

Look, I also take my record with the US Army seriously, but few care about that so I've kept it to myself. In case you didn't notice, the majority of the electorate just refused to vote for one of our very own. We are practically obsolete; heck, even my own kid voted for the other guy.
