No Surprise

As expected, Inglewood wide receiver Shaquelle Evans committed to Notre Dame today. It's a smart decision for him. It seems like the Irish could use more skill-position players and he's someone who could easily get lost in the shuffle at USC, even if the wide-receiver corps remains enigmatic.
What's far more important to USC is whether it keeps Cathedral wide receiver Randall Carroll from changing his mind (on a weekly basis).

He and Golden Tate will form a formidable receiving duo for All-American Jimmy Claussen to throw TD bombs to.

I didn't catch the news last night and my newspaper has not yet arrived this morning. Did I miss something, was Claussen annointed All-American honors while I slept?

Oops, the word is 'anointed' not 'annointed.'

The rest of the Pac 10 cannot seem to keep up with all the talent. If he was going to another school I guess it would be alright but we have to play ND too. I'd rather conference improvement than ND improvement.
