USC's scored 30-or-more points in just eight of its past 25 Pac-10 games between 2006-2008. The Trojans scored 30-or-more points in 27 of 32 Pac-10 games between 2002-2005.

With SarKiffin USC is lucky to score 20 pts per game. They are that bad. Though place to learn on the job.

I'm more concerned with the win-loss record during those time periods and the # of BCS appearances.

Why keep running the ball when you are gaining about 7 yds per carry? Sark tries to out think the room and spread the ball around to make everyone happy. All he is really doing is screwing up a talented offense. USC should have had at least 28 points last night.

To fighton - SC would have had more than 28 pts if the penalties were under control, but this year, that does not seem to be.
It seems we have too many egos to satisfy, as opposed to the earlier years when there was a definite distinction between the top position players and the 2nd or 3rd position players, thus they all require their 15 minutes of fame, per game, or "I will transfer!"
Anyone check on Emmanual Moody lately?

It seems that the offense lacks any palpable rhythm. Switching RBs on a random basis means no one gets going on a consistent basis. Fighton and TrojanRick have pointed to the problem...trying to satisfy too many players. Personally, I like an offense that can pound the ball, eat the clock, and provide rest to the defense

USC has finally allowed more points this season - 60, than UCLA allowed in one game vs. BYU - 59.
But then we have the offense. Joe McKnight is like offensive cocaine to Sark. You get a quick high watching him, but in the end you get burned out and lose your job (one can hope).
Seeing McKnight come right back out on the drive following the fumble made me a bit sick. No consequences for poor ball handling. Sark is all coc-ed up and can't help himself. They wasted three plays trying to get Mcknight on the deep ball up the left sideline. Covered every time. Cal was never fooled, but how could they be, I could see that play coming from row 80, and I've never coached a defense in my life.
It seemed to me like they were under-utilizing C.J. Gable. He looked poised to be the most successful for the day but they went away from him a bit much trying to make everyone happy.

Sheesh, with all this "making everyone happy" crap I cannot imagine the pain Marc Tyler is feeling, being behind all of that. I think he's the most talented of all of them. That broken leg sure set him back. I just pray that he sticks it out and gets to compete more.
