It may not matter after Saturday (if Oregon beats OSU), but do you think that it could hurt the Trojans, if they don't end up in either the Rose Bowl or the BCS Championship game? Fight On!
Seeing Tim Davis going to Minnesota. It's been documented that Davis was no a big fan of Lane Kiffin. Did Kiffin backstabbing his way into the SC OC job force Davis to leave SC that same year ?
With the Big 10 (11) having their own network, do you see the Pac 10 ever trying to do something like this or are they the Versus Network Conference forever?
What gives with only some conferences having championship games, and why not the Pac 10? The idea that the conferences are too big doesn't hold up - Big 12 teams could have played 11 games against each other and skipped a few of the powerhouses like Florida Atlantic. I'm surprised the BCS is ok with it - two teams in those conferences get an extra game in front of voters plus you gotta think that the computers are going to rank a 12-1 team higher than an 11-1 team just because of winning percentage. Plus, the games must make a lot of dough for the conferences. With the Pac 10 commissioners doing their Ebenezer Scrooge - favoring money enjoyment and screaming about how a playoff just spreads the wealth to the undeserving - you would think they would want in on this boondoggle.
Dallas Sartz has been on three NFL teams since finishing at SC and has been cut by each one very after joining them. So what does he do the rest of the year? Does he have a regular job in-between when he tries out for other NFL teams?
Lets see if I have this straight...Vaunted SEC powerhouse (7 loss) Arkansas.....just because all of the SEC is considered to be powerhouses, right Scott?... who are ranked lower than the bottom 50 in the BCS, scored 10 late points to defeat vaunted SEC powerhouse (5 loss)LSU today. So Scott, does this 5th loss propel mighty LSU back into your top 10 and thus force the BCS to consider them for an at large invitation to the Sugar Bowl which of course draws lots of local LSU fans. Wow, on a side note vaunted powerhouse Pitt beats your other fave..unranked powerhouse WVA in the closing minutes..Is that going t propel them into the top of your upcoming ballot Scott?
Early this season, you predicted USC would have two losses. Are you sticking with that prediction or do you want to change it? If you stick with it, to whom will USC lose? Also, care to predict where USC will go for a Bowl game, and USC's final ranking? Thanks for the forum, Scott.
By the way, here is where you predicted 11-2 season for USC.

Any ideas about why the USC-Notre Dame men's hoops matchup never returned? I recall watching the two play at the Sports Arena during the John MacLeod era in the early 1990s and it was pretty awesome seeing the two go at it, especially since both programs were on par with each other as modest counterparts to the booming football success at the respective schools.
Now both programs are on par with each other as legitimate top 25ish members every season, plus I saw that Notre Dame was in LA to play Loyola Marymount last week on the way to the Maui Invitational. Would be really sweet to see these two play like a Sunday noon game at the Galen Center the day after the football version at the Coliseum so everyone in town can make a meal out of the weekend. Think it would be a surefire 8,000 turnout at least. This year would probably provide a better game than football.
oops, I meant Arkansas is ranked in the BCS bottom 50
Scott, you mentioned last week that we had 2-3 silent recruits. Are these guys names that us football fanatics would recognize, or are they of the type that PC just happens to like? As uscmike, above, said, thanks for having the forums.
I might add that I asked Ben M. a question and he replied that, as a member of the team, he was not allowed to answer. What team is he on, Scott? [Ooops, that's a second question, but I thought it was funny and just wanted to pass it along to you.]
Scott,Thank you for the forum. I heard many people saying the main reason for the team struggles is Mark Sanchez is regressing in skill and it seems like he does not know the playbook still and the offense line is young. As a USC fan this is troubling for the team despite the Ohio State game. Many critics point that the defense has not faced a top quarterback or running back. Other teams like the Gators, Sooners, and Longhorns have great offense and defense while playing top teams. Do you feel that the current USC team despite not having a good offense and not facing tough teams will be able to beat teams like Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech? Please explain how they would matchup.] and who would win.
How is the 2010 recruiting class coming along and how will the the 2009 recruiting class finish? Who are the most likely commits coming.
Scott, In your opinion, If USC were to play on a neutral field, which teams if any would the Las Vegas oddsmakers favor in that game and by what spread?
Thank You
Not really a question, but was just noticing how another vaunted SEC powerhouse, Georgia, "between their hallowed hedges" gave up close to 500yds rushing to a 3 loss ACC team while giving up 45 points in the loss. I wonder if Scotts #7, AP's #13 gets dropped from the rankings after giving up between 38-45 points 5 times this season? Yeah they probably will, even though they only had Ga.Southern, Central Mich, Tenn, Vandy,SoCarol, and ASU on their vaunted schedule..the main reason being... that they did manage to hold on to beat vaunted LSU! LOL
Couldn't help noticing that every time Charlie Weis called a play he deliberately and obviously covered his mouth with his play sheet.
Does he REALLY believe that someone on the USC coaching staff has an eye glued to ESPN for the chance to catch a close-up, read his lips, decipher the code name for the play, call down to the field and get an adjustment made just in the nick of time?
