`Over-rated'

Nice to see that out-of-the-way schools such as Texas Tech know about SC football, because I know nothing about its football program outside of it losing to Texas every year, and probably will again this evening.

And criticism of SC is easy this season because it is not a great offensive team and it looks it. But it is defense, the less publicized and glamorous side of football, that wins championships, and the Trojans have it.

Well, I guess if the Texas Tech fans are chanting "over-rated" it is officially time to start looking forward to basketball season.

The only thing funnier than you posting this "news" is a the fans of a team who opened with games against E. Washington, Nevada, SMU & U Mass are calling anyone over-rated. Their "big win" is against a team ranked in the "others receiving votes" column. I'll be curious how things shake out after they play Texas, OSU & Oklahoma.

Wow, TT has not even one "THE" game and they are trying to call the Trojans overrated? What city are they in, Lub-lost, TX? That all must stem from their two-chin whiney coach, Mike Leach. Fight On!

I grew up in West TX and like the Red Raiders. They party hard! I don't begrudge them, they were all getting drunk having fun on GameDay. I really do hope they beat the Tea-sips tonight.

Texas fans are having fun.

If any team should get the over rated chants it should be Auburn and Georgia.

And how many National Championships let alone Conference Championships do they have? Everyone likes to take a shot at the big man.
