A couple of things:
1) Why are there so many of them? They have more cheerleaders than football players. This is like the Million Man March.
2) Some of these girls aren't that bad considering it's Cal.
Agree on both counts. There are a LOT of them. Some of them are surprisingly cute, while some of the others, not so much. Since this is Cal, they have an "all-inclusive policy," which means that any female ("girl" is considered a derisive word for anyone 18+ years of age in Berkeley) who wishes to be a cheerleader, will be a cheerleader. They will turn no one away, ever. So they end up with about 50 cheerleaders.
Uh, Scott, either you uploaded that picture wrong (too tall / not wide enough) or someone needs to get those girls a sandwich.
Cal actually has more attractive members than the Song Girls.
Is every member of the Cal student body a cheerleader?! I have never seen so many cheerleaders. They must be following the Song Girl model of increasing the number of squad members for no reason whatsoever.
Some of those girls are kind of butch though. I would like to see a fight between the rough and rogue USC Song Girls of the 2000s and the Cal cheerleaders. I think that would be a fair fight and I am not sure which side would win.
Only one way to find out and that's to fight it out!!

Pleasantly surprised Cal has pretty cute coeds. These girls in the picture are quite pretty -
1. Top row third from right
2. Top row fifth from right
3. Girl kneeling below the one on the top row fifth from right
4. Lying on the ground in the very front
Someone needs to tell the girl in the very front, laying down (and the girl to her right) that California is the "Golden State" with "sunshine". Even if she does go to school in NoCal, blondes are usually a "golden tan". Hell, even that chrome dome coming off of Wolfeee has a tan. Fight On!
Oregon is still tops
It's hard to tell. Which one is Scott Wolf in this photo again?
Really hate to admit it...but the UCLA cheerleaders are the best looking in the PAC this year...yes, better than Oregon's.
