In the LA Times, Sanchez was quoted as saying Cal often drops eight in coverage, and defends the deep ball well. I hope he is able to resist the temptation to force the deep ball, and use the RBs and TEs more. It would also be nice if USC ran a draw once in a while if Cal is going to drop 8 in pass coverage.

Agreed. If this is the case, lots of screen, slants, and flat passes to McKnight, McCoy, and Rojo will certainly do the trick.
