Matt Cassel seems to have learned a lot while sitting and watching Tom Brady play, hopefully Leinart will benefit the same way behind Kurt Warner.

Earth to Captain Obvious, hello, Matt isn't playing, one would hope Cassel would have more passing yards.

Scott, come clean, what happened between Leinart and you that makes you write this drivel?

Matt Cassel is the NFL story of the year! How in the hell did he not get his shot at SC? Leinart should learn from Cassel and be patient. But, I don't think Leinart has the arm that Cassel has! Cassel seriously looks like Tom Brady back there, only younger and more athletic.

Leinart also threw for more yards in one drive at USC then Cassel threw in his college career.

This just reinforces the fact that Brady is a system quarterback. I would think that if you put Leinart into the Patriots offense he would also put up big numbers.

And quite a bit better looking. You just know how things went down in Spring, 2003. Chow walks up and says "Hey Matt, you're the starter." and Cassel was just out of earshot. The rest is college football history.

I always thought USC did pretty well with Matt Leinart as a starter.
