USC is two victories and one Oregon State victory away from NOT going to the Rose Bowl and instead going to another BCS bowl game.

CBS Bowl projection has USC vs. Texas in the Fiesta Bowl. Hard not to be pumped and stoked for that one.
High stakes game as most Trojans say the Horns won last time strictly due to VY. Put up or Shut up now.
One good thing about a Penn St match up would be avenging the OSU loss indirectly. We could beat the team that beat the team that beat Us.

Penn State - Oregon State rematch...Exactly what the tradition bound Rose Bowl deserves.
Go Beavs! Please save us from another visit to Disneyland and Lawry's Beef Bowl; then pray the football gods save you from another JoPa whoopping.
1) Okla St beats OU in Stillwater as OU has an emotional letdown after the big TxTech win....quite possible. Okla St is undefeated at home this season. 40%
2) Mizzu beats Texas in Big-12 Champ game. It's a rematch, it's in Mizzu, and Mizzu is desperate for a win against a Big-12 powerhouse....quite possible - 40%.
Then, Florida embarrasses Alabama in SEC championship and we are in. But, a Fiesta Bowl against Texas or Oklahoma would be a great game too.
This all sounds good; but I would rather see SC against Alabama in the Orange Bowl

COMMENT: The only problem with your scenario is this; If Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma, then Texas Tech goes to the Big 12 Title Game, not Texas (provided they both beat Baylor and A&M respectively.)And that might leave Texas sitting pretty for the national title game even though they did not make their own title game.
