Where is LSU? Why is 3-loss Georgia at No. 10, ahead of two-loss tOSU and OkSU? As usual, Scott's poll raises more questions than it answers.
Seriously, the SEC was exposed yesterday. It lost 3-of-4 matches against the ACC (WF over Vandy, Clemson over S. Carolina, GT over Georgia...only won Fla over Fla St.). See what happens when the SEC doesn't play La Monroe or St. Sisters of the Poor?
Scott Wolf's real ballot:
#1 LSU
#2 Florida
#3 Alabama
#4 Georgia
#5 Mississippi
#6 Auburn
#7 South Carolina
#8 Vanderbilt
#9 Tennessee
#10 Kentucky
#11 Texas
#12 Arkansas
#13 Oklahoma
#14 Texas Tech
#15 Mississippi State
#16 Oklahoma State
#17 Missouri
#18 USC
#19 Penn State
#20 LSU (second string)
3 loss Georgia, with no wins against a ranked team, is in the top10!? Their best win is against a 5 loss LSU team that is barely bowl eligible since it finished the season with only 6 wins against D1A opponents (I would still have them in the top 5 personally) . Were you more impressed with Georgia squeaking it out against the worst Auburn team in recent memory or by losing yesterday to a team that doesn't have a forward pass in their playbook.
I can see how you rank Texas Tech ahead of USC given their stellar performance in their last two games. Oh and lets not forget how much better TT is without Michael Crabtree who injured his ankle yesterday.
Given your rankings I totally agree that USC would be the 4th best team in the Big 12. MAKES TOTAL SENSE!!! Heck if USC and TT played in a bowl game I'm sure you would have TT as a 7 point favorite.
Three loss Georgia Tech in the top 10 - funny one.
Ga Tech. lost to Virginia at home. remember when SC played Virginia. Ga Tech also has a 10-7 victory at home over the powerhouse Gardner-Webb.
Many of of Ga Tech's impressive wins have been by three or four points over: BC, Gardner Webb, Clemson, Florida St., & Georgia. These teams all sound good based on their history, but none have had very good years. Oh yeah, and Ga Tech didn't even win their conference division.
As uscmike & Evil Robot have already stated, Georgia has no business in the top 10 either. I guarantee Scott has Georgia ranked higher than any other pollster. Georgia fans don't even think their team is a worth a top 10. Once again, the facts don't lie.
Georgia wins:
1. Georgia Southern (FCS School)
2. Central Michigan (8-4 record, a real powerhouse in the MAC)
3. South Carolina (7-5 record, won by 7; note: South Carolina has only 5 wins vs. FBS schools this season, including UAB)
4. ASU (5-6 record)
5. Tennessee (5-7 record)
6. Vandy (6-6 record)
7. LSU (7-5 record, including wins over App. St., Troy (barely), & N. Texas)
8. Kentucky (6-6 record - won by 4)
9. Auburn (5-7 record - won by 4)
Am I missing something? I don't see any quality Georgia wins here.
I almost forgot about Texas Tech. squeaking past Baylor (4-8) at HOME.
Does that deserve any drop in ranking?
For a good laugh, go check Baylor's schedule and look at their victories.
Scott Wolf, it is a real shame your votes count toward something. You disgust me.
WHAT??!! I am not sure if any of the rankings make sense. I was going to start with why TT is ahead of USC, but I realized there is nonsense all across the board!!!
Scott, I urge you to give up your AP vote. I thought the coaches and Harris voters are clueless and AP writers know the game, watch a lot of games and make good decisions about putting teams at various positions.
But you defy ALL logic here Scott. Why are you such an SEC-fanboy??? Given the way everyone except Alabama and Florida have panned out (and taking away some of their luster too), why should SEC be given a higher weight?
Is beating Georgia and LSU such a big deal now? Not at all, as it turns out. Those two "powerhouses" are not that great this year!
Also, what's the deal with Texas Tech's position in your poll???? Credit to them for surviving against a hapless Baylor????
Or are you doing this just to get some traffic to your blog and therefore potential ad dollars????
Whatever it is, unless you can put some justification to your rankings in your posts, they are meaningless to me. I will write the AP to remove you from their voter pool.
Another great one, Oregon has 3 losses to teams with a combined record of 30-5, but are only ranked 20th. Ga Tech has three losses to teams with a 21-15 record and are in the top ten. Why, they beat a fraud from the SEC and padded their record with 2 wins against D1AA teams. They have 7 wins against D1 opponents... one more than Notre Dame. You know, the one that passing around the hat to fire its coach.
Scott Wolf, you either need to take this more seriously or give up your vote. If you are voting like this just to get attention and blog hits, I can introduce you to by 5 year old nephew. You too have about the same level of maturity.
Highlander, are you sure that want to disgrace your nephew like that. I would be willing to bet that your nephew is more mature than Wolfeee. I would also bet that he could write a better a blog than Wolfeee.
Interesting to compare Scott to the other pollsters - www.pollspeak.com.
Scott is tied as the "most extreme" voter this week.
He has Georgia Tech & Georgia ranked higher than ANY other voter. Same with Florida & Texas Tech except two voters agree with him.
He also has Ohio St. ranked the lowest of ANY voter.
59 voters out of 64 voters have Oregon ranked higher than Scott.
Wolf, I don't even respect this latest attempted poll of yours enough to even respond, other than to re-iterate how dissappointed I am in you for not recusing your vote!

You're clown and this is getting really old.
Wolf, you are a complete idiot!!! Texas Tech barely beat Baylor at home.
Does anyone know what qualifications Wolf has to cover football? Seriously, if anyone knows I'd be interested in knowing.
Scott Wolf likes to fart under the covers and then pull them over his head...so he can smell his farts.
Scott, in the past your AP polls have made me smile and the comments make me laugh, but today I laughed out loud at your AP poll. To have Georgia at 10 is absolutely ridiculous.
Malachi, too funny..my second laugh out loud.
