Despite the fact Pete Carroll's lost only once to Cal, the rivalry's still one of USC's most-heated in recent years.

This thing is HUGE!! In the past 5 or 6 years this has by far been the biggest rivalry in the conference.
Cal is loaded on defense, as usual, and that offense can really put your lights out and Tedford can dial it up any time. The defense is the one that has to make the loud, painful statement right off the bat.
This is just another in a long line of enormous games for this group and not just because it is for the Pac 10 championship.
