Cal's new defense found ways to pressure the quarterback.

DEFENSIVE LINE

Put constant pressure on Cal quarterbacks and contained tailbacks.

Rey Maualuga and Brian Cushing combined for 19 tackles.

SECONDARY

Some highlight plays but a lot of Cal receivers were open too.

The punting game could be renamed the shanking game.

Agree pretty much. Special teams I might rate higher: Punting C, Kickoffs into the end zone A, can't recall a big return. So maybe a B or B-.
