Yesterday's blog meltdown prevented us from posting the grades for the Stanford game.

RESULT: No. 6 USC 45, Stanford 23
RECORD: 9-1, 7-1
WEEK 10 GPA: C+

QUARTERBACK

Is 17 pass attempts smart football or admission of incompetence?

C

RUNNING BACKS

Tailback by committee works when everyone gets carries.

A-

WIDE RECEIVERS

A miracle. Vidal Hazelton actually got a play called for him.

C+

OFFENSIVE LINE

Opened big holes for tailbacks but less successful on pass blocking.

B-

DEFENSIVE LINE

Toby Gerhart showed Oregon State was not quite a fluke.

LINEBACKERS

Rey Maualuga got dinged and needed a series off to recover.

SECONDARY

Cardinal's offense is one-dimensional and passing isn't the dimension.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Kick returns bailed out offense in first half.

What exactly is USC's philosophy on offense right now?
