Versus announced the USC-Stanford garnered a 1.0 HH rating, making it the most-watched college football game among households (742,937) and total viewers (1,031,532) ever on the network.
By comparison, ESPN averages 2,020,000 households and a 2.1 rating for its college football coverage.
In Los Angeles, USC-Stanford delivered a 2.8 HH rating, making Versus the No. 1-rated cable station and the fourth--highest-rated station overall in the market for that time period.

And it was in HD. Many Pac 10 games on ABC this year haven't been in HD. A real 2 letter insult to the fans by the 3 letter affiliate of the 4 letter network.
Imagine if Vs. was carried on all cable companies like ESPN is...
Yeah, I had to sign up with Time Warner just to get the station as I don't have the Variety tier, which basically includes a bunch of garbage stations that I won't watch. Now I have to call and cancel it.
Yet I must not have been the only one.
Can't wait until Feb 17 next year when digital will be everywhere. Then maybe Dish will get my business.
But it was good seeing it in HD.
