Kind of surprising that Jeff Byers only earned Honorable Mention honors? And nothing against Garrett Green because we all know that he is one hell a of "student"-athlete, but I really wonder how they comprise the 1st, 2nd, 3rd teams, along with the Honorable Mentions.

"To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant substitute".

So looking at the list, I just wonder why Jeff only garnered Honorable Mention, rather than 1st, 2nd or 3rd team honors?

Just curious. Fight On!
