Answer Tuesday! (Football Forum)
Maybe USC should play every road game in its cardinal jerseys and then just play with four timeouts to force efficient clock management.
Q: Why did Pete Carroll not play the younger kids more in the Notre Dame game? Which juniors on the roster besides Mays will enter the NFL draft?
A: I'm not sure why Mitch Mustain or Aaron Corp did not come in sooner. But I've asked that throughout the season. I'm not sure any other juniors will turn pro. Josh Pinkard appears likely to skip his sixth year while Jeff Byers should return.
Q: Do you think Wes Horton will ever see quality playing time at SC?
A: He had a strong start in training camp so I could see him playing, especially with his height. Whether he starts is another matter. But USC rotates its ends so he should be in the mix.
Q: Scott, what do you think is the real reason that the Trojans forced Hazelton to burn a year of elegibility this year? Thanx.
A: USC traditionally does not redshirt upperclassmen unless they get a season-ending injury. He had a few nagging injuries but none that would prevent him playing the entire season. It impacted his season because he never seemed to get going and he wanted to redshirt to get in a full season healthy.

Anyone want to see what a healthy Vidal Hazelton is like, take a look at the 2007 iwish game at south bend. He had a great game.
Sanchez hasn't been a started for a full season yet and has proven he needs more experience. That's why he continues to play in garbage time.
Didn't Mustain throw an interception?
Don't get me going on clock management, this staff and this team. There has been a ton of times this season where the clock has been mismanaged. PC's unwillingness to compete has cost this team dearly.
