Q: Your comment about Bellotti being named pac ten coach of the year made me think you didn't agree with the choice. Who was your Pac 10 coach of the year?
A: Mike Riley. Who is my bet to be USC's next coach.
and rightfully should be should Pete Carroll decide to leave for the some other place. The job Riley has done in Corvallis has been tremendous and he would carry on Carroll's success, in fact, he probably is a better game planner. As long as he continues the Carroll energy in recruiting which is unmatched.

Mike Riley is the perfect successor to PC! But, I hope that Pete gives us another 5-10 years. Then, how about PC as athletic director? Could USC possibly have a better fundraiser?

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
