Band Playlist

Here's the USC band's playlist for the Rose Bowl halftime show.
``Woman" by Wolfmother (2006)
"Almost Easy" by Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
"The Hand That Feeds" by Nine Inch Nails (2005)

The songs come from the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series of music video games. But don't worry, something tells me we'll still hear some Kansas on New Year's Day.

Which is, um, ALSO from Rock Band:

I expect lots of standing around and crotch humping the air and/or ground. They should really stop calling themselves a "marching" band.

and, of course, we expect to hear Tusk after the game, all night long.

I think my prediction will ring more true, particularly since the band will be too busy getting sloshed after the game. Maybe even before :P

Air crotch humping I can do without.

Tusk must never go away. Tusk is like America the Beautiful for Trojans - second only to the fight song in importance. I remember attending one game several years ago where they didn't play it at all during the game but waited till the teams had left the field. I wouldn't leave till I heard it.

If there's one thing we can all believe in it's that UCLA sucks.

TUSK is a must. about 10-12 years ago I can remember watching SC play Cal in Berkeley and the band was playing Tusk. A young girl approx 5-6 in a song girl costume was singing along...U-C-L-A sucks, but because we were playing CAL there was an added: Cal swallows. This little girl sang that too! Her mother grounded her until her 13th birthday, I think. priceless

something nice to say as usual, Scott Wolf. Why do you hate the world so much?

My greatest memory of Tusk was at the BCS national championship game when SC killed Oklahoma. Almost 2 a.m., stands empty except for SC fans and everyone chanting 'ucla sucks.' Now that's good living.
