How embarrassing. fucla and Arizona have passed SC by. We used to own college baseball.
Fullerton rules the SoCal baseball scene!
SC needs a young, hungry LOCAL coach who will beat the LOCAL bushes for players. This coach will have to STOP signing obvious first round picks to make his resume look good " See, I signed these guys but the got drafted high and signed pro contracts, so I'm left with this dreck. "
In the end, private schools are going to have a really hard time fielding a competitive baseball team over the long haul.
SC will never dominate baseball again with the limited scholarships available to baseball. Most scholarships are split and a half scholarship to SC would still cost a student over $25K a year. When SC is competing with public schools in the area along with other Pac 10 schools, it's real tough to compete as an expensive private school.
Too bad. The NCAA has ruined college baseball. I really used to enjoy this sport, but never give it a moment's notice these days.

Want some cheese with that wine. Just because you because u guys can't keep up, u decide the NCAA has ruined college baseball. I guess it was better in the old days when you guys could hoard players you never had any idea of playing. Scholarship limitations has made for a more competitive game, making the difference between winning and losing decided by talent an coaching. Fullerton has just had more of both over the past 20 years to rule the Southland.
Just live with it...u never give it a moment's notice because you guys, well, suck!
