Caesar Finalist
Pete Carroll is one of nine finalists for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award, which is handed out by the Football Writers Association of America.
Texas' Mack Brown, Texas Tech's Mike Leach, Florida's Urban Meyer, Penn State's Joe Paterno, Boise State's Chris Petersen, Alabama's Nick Saban, Oklahoma's Bob Stoops and Utah's Kyle Whittingham are the other finalists.
Carroll's never won but was a finalist three times (2003-05).
I'm a big PC fan, but Carroll doesn't deserve to win. Glad he's a finalist though.
