Knight Arena

Oregon's $200 million basketball arena will be named for Phil and Penny Knight's late son. The Matthew Knight Arena is scheduled to open for the 2010-11 basketball season.

I've never been to Mac Court, but have watched hundreds of games that have been televised from there. From my standpoint, it appears to be an architecturally impressive structure. Does OU really need a new arena, or is this simply a matter of the Knights wanting to put their name on something?
