Steve Sarkisian got the Washington offer but won't formally accept until after the UCLA game.

I know that many on this blog have not cared for Sark, and many have criticized, ripped, and stomp on his play calling (I have even questioned his calls a lot), but I wish Sark nothing but the best. He has helped to keep the Trojans right in the top eulachon of college football. Sark (along with the rest of the coaching staff and all of the players) have helped to deliver "7" straight Pac 10 titles (okay, after the smack down of FUCLA, will it be seven). I hope that Sark will have much success against the rest of the Pac 10 (I hope that Trojans kick the crap out of UW everytime they face them). Good luck Sark. Fight On!

Sure glad we had ESPN.com and the OC Register to break this story so that we were not left wanting for timely pertinent info coming from USC football.

LOL, another weed on Carroll's coaching tree, LOL. SC's offense won't get any better until Ego Pete stops meddling in the offense.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Interesting how Kiffin and Sark caught so much flak from the Trojan faithful, and yet are prized catches elsewhere.

Maybe they know something we don't.

In time they will find out exactly what we know. Sark has no chance at Udub. Have you seen that schedule ?
And Kiffin , being Kiffin , will be canned in time.

I seem to recall Leinart doing pretty well under Coach Smith....he won the Heisman that year. Though how much of his success was due to Smith and/or Chow is hard to say.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
