NFL Scout Talks, Part 2

| | Comments (8) |

Our NFL scout attended the UCLA game on Saturday. Here's his evaluation:
``They're not a great offense. Damian Williams and Joe McKnight are the two best players. I like Mark Sanchez, he's a good player. Patrick Turner comes up with a play here or there. They tried to make UCLA adjust early and once they did that, they never adjusted to UCLA's adjustments. UCLA could not blitz effectively without Lockett. Sanchez made some good plays scrambling.''

Does anyone think Joe McKnight has what it takes to make it in the NFL?

Considering his size and apparent issues with bright lights, I kind of doubt he'd do better than Gable or Stafon Johnson in the League.

Reggie is no A.Peterson who is a stud in the NFL game. Joe < Reggie

Joe has been hit a bit by the injury bug. I still have hope he'll develop, but he is definitely no Reggie.

The Scout who advises his team to take Patrick Turner should be fired.

The OL was the weak link of this team and everyone knew that before the season started. So it seems that Pete is able to make average players winners.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Joe Mc can be as good as Reggie. I predict next year we do more to establish Joe Mc as the primary RB, and he blows up into a Heisman candidate.

No doubt JM will be a potent playmaker and become more involved in the offense next year than this year.
But, there will never be anyone close to what Reggie was. When JM leaves the Trojans, he will be remembered for his style of football. But he will never be Reggie Bush. Period.

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
