No Coincidence

Some interesting timing here. Morrell Presley decommits from USC to UCLA. That is followed by Ken Norton's allegations UCLA claimed he is leaving to become their defensive coordinator. At this point, someone is going say, ``why does a tight end like Presley care about Norton?''
The answer is that Norton recruits the City Section and spent more time with Presley than any other USC coach.

Your insinuation is ridiculous. Right, so Neuheisel or someone from UCLA told Presley that KNJ was moving across town, so Presley jumps ship. Whatever your opinion is about Neuheisel's character, most would say that he's an intelligent guy. An intelligent guy wouldn't tell such a bold faced lie, one that is so easily fact-checked and disproven. Even if you think he is a lying scumbag, you have to admit that such a move would not be very slick of Rick, and therefore entirely out of character.

"most would say he's an intelligent guy"

I think I've been able to pinpoint EXACTLY where your logic began to veer off course...

Scott, get the facts straight. Pressley ALWAYS said that he liked UCLA, but Neuheisel showed no attention toward him early on because he was trying to save the 2008 class.

Obviously, you guys are above thinking that a commit could ditch $UC to play across town, where there are actually academic qualifications that must be met before being admitted.

Scott, make sure you tell both sides, and ask your "coach" about the limo sent to pick up Brian Price and how Carroll questionned his character because he wouldn't flip to $UC. I could "give you" the story, but try actually asking Carroll.

it is so dumb. If you tell a recruit that Norton is coming to UCLA, al lthe recruit needs to do is call Norton to verify and then UCLA loses all credibility. I really wanted Norton back because he was a UCLA alum and Duhrell was a dope to not even give him a chance. Now I don't want him because he is either a dope or a pawn being used.

Scott your reporting is just terrible. Quit being the homer writer that you are and write a real story. Did you really get an $c degree to write this junk. Your parents would be embarrassed.

kinda odd, wouldn't pressley ask ken norton if norton was his recruiter? Or he just heard it from Neuheisel and decided to jump ship? Your logic isn't making sense at all Scott.

come, on Ruin honks, don't flatter yourselves. SC needs to stir up controversy to beat the powder blue weenies? Don't think so. The monopoly remains. Get used to it.

Yes brilliant logic Scott, UCLA tells Presley Norton is leaving, Norton is personally recruiting Presley so he could personally dispel the allegation yet the issue is never raised. Keep doing SUC proud with that crack reporting!
