Pete Carroll said he spoke to John Morton today about the offensive coordinator’s position.
“We’re working though it,” he said. “I don’t have a time table. I’m excited about John and what he brings. I did talk to Carl (Smith). Something is possible there.”
Reading between the lines, Morton could be elevated to offensive coordinator and Smith hired as the quarterbacks coach. Carroll did not want to say who would call plays.
