| | Comments (8) |

Steve Sarkisian interviewed with Washington on Thanksgiving. Carl Smith's been hovering around USC since Saturday. Does this mean John Morton will not be the next offensive coordinator?

great, a choice between two dinosaurs. are there any more NFL leftovers that can be found? can't believe that the team just started using the shotgun this year-Pete better wake up to contemporary offensive schemes or all the talent will continue to be wasted year after year.

I beat Scott Wolf to the news, who is the new offensive coordinator for USC and what USC coaches will. Also this affect the UCLA game and bowl game, also recruiting takes a hit

Well, its offical up here in Seattle. So now we can't complain about Lame or Sark anymore but we have to read about Sark everyday now in the local rags. What Joy!

I'm happy about this. I've been a Sark supporter, but I think it was time for him to go. The Vidal thing bothers me. The refusal to adopt any of the spread concepts, and no longer being innovative, while stuffy, old school programs like OU and UT blow by us offensively with less talent....bothers me. I wish Sark well at UW, and thank him for his wonderful contribution. I am pretty shocked that UW didn't offer Pat Hill or the Utah coach though.

Nobody should laugh at Carl Smith. He was with us on that championship team for the crystal ball trophy in '04. He just might be the lucky charm...

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
