If they don't think Sanchez can throw... then why play him? How many 3rd and longs did they run on? I don't get it!

Doesn't Pete Carroll realize that he is actually making the Norm Chow mythos greater by hiring lapdog offensive coordinators? Every year that goes by with the mediocre offense, Chow gets more and more credit and Pete gets less. Getting a proven college offensive coordinator is the only way people will forget Chow.

PC and Sark played it light after the game was in hand. Running out the clock and letting lots of guys play.

If David had hit his field goals and no int., the score would have been 37-0

1. Congratulations Team on a record 7th straight PAC 10 Championship, an incredible feat! May the streak continue. Fight On, beat Penn State!
2. Never again. Had it not been for someone foolishly scheduling a Thursday nighter in Corvallis we probably go 12-0.
3. Norm Chow looked a lot smarter with Matt, Reggie, Lendale, Dwayne, Steve and an NFL bound offensive line.
4. Scott Wolf is a petulant moron.

The offense never clicked this season except for the Ohio State game. With time to prepare I expect a better show at the Rose Bowl. The only concern is if the team has a tough time preparing for the game because of four years in a row playing there and having another Big Ten opponent. I wish Oregon State would have beat Oregon so we could have played Texas in the Fiesta Bowl. I'd like to see how this defense would have faired against a high powered team from the Big 12 or SEC.

They should give the fourth place SEC team the Pac 10 championship automatically. The SEC is so amazing. The defenses are so good in the SEC that no one ever scores. They just ask Scott Wolf who the best team is. Personally, I still think LSU is the best team in the country, followed by LSU's scout team.

Incredible 7 straight conference championships! But, I think Penn St in the Rose Bowl is going to be a big test...and, actually make for a great game. Why has the offense not been in synch since Ohio St with all that talent? OC Sark is simply not very good? I don't think so. Pac-10 has great coaching and they all pretty much know our playbook? Partially. We rotate way too many skill positions, rather than let the starters get into a rhythm? Maybe. We are no longer innovative, as the spread has gone mainstream? Partially. Or, we were great this season in all areas except the O-line, where we had 4 new, young starters who played very well, but comparatively, made for only a slightly above average O-line? I choose that one as the primary reason for the offensive underachievement.

When the "We are - SC!" chant turned into "This is - OUR HOUSE!"

The gutless little Bruins resorted to cheap-shots on Sanchez. I guess desperate times called for desperate measures. My how this rivalry has turned ... 9 of 10 and counting. There were a few bRuin fans who left after USC scored to make it 21-7 in the 2nd qtr. No faith in your team.

Too bad Gable fumbled. It cost the team a shutout (even without the trick play, UCLA converts at least a FG). The offense sputtered again. It seems like USC should pass in between the 20s, but run it in the red zone.

USC was too conservative on offense again. Sure, USC missed 3 FGs, and it could've been 37 pts. However, USC should not have been stopped 3 times to set-up the FG attempts in the first place. Too bad this defense didn't get to shine in the BS-BCS title game.
