Post-Practice Update
Nothing new on Stanley Havili. He is going to turn in some paperwork tomorrow and hope to get cleared. The big winner could be Rhett Ellison although Adam Goodman will practice full-time tomorrow. Blake Ayles remains inactive and looks like he will miss the game. Kevin Ellison is not expected to play.
Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian said he's prepared the past month without Havili because of his ankle injury, so it's not a sudden change for the Trojans.
The offense struggled against the defense, especially during the blitz period. USC just left campus for the Beef Bowl.

I am not getting good vibes. Stanley is a huge loss. Damien may be limited, and that would also be a huge neg. Our fans are too cocky. The players may be overconfident, or at least bored. Penn St is much better than the Michigans and Illinois's of the past. Penn St is a senior, well-disciplined team with some great speed at skill positions. I predict a close game, and a loss. We can't win every Rose Bowl, for God's sake.
DFW? Recommend losing the "Trojan"part of your nick with that kind of pensive chicken bleep attitude. You may be on to something...losing errrr handing a Rose Bowl to Texas a few years ago, but that's the only loss I can deal with! I don't forsee any more!
Goliath (wishing I could be a)Trojan!
anything can happen-both of you are correct
just4sc..I really got alot out of much of your commentary on that live blog last night. Thanks for your interesting and topical discourse.
