Following the fight between the USC and Notre Dame football players, it merely highlighted the more violent football players USC have had this decade, often getting in trouble with the law. So this leads to the inevitable question of who would win in a fight - the lawless USC football players of the 2000s who have spent time in jail or the rogue USC Song Girls of the 2000s?

How come those new cheerleaders in the red uniforms now get far more TV face time than the Song Girls? The cameramen seem to practically ignore the Song Girls now in favor of the new cheerleaders and act as if the Song Girls do not even exist. Could the Song Girls be headed the way of the old Yell Leaders?

Sports Illustrated and other sites continue to cover your weekly cheerleader pictures:

This is a national phenomenon for our time and is clearly ahead of the curve. Do you anticipate any copycat reporters across the country jumping onboard this bandwagon next season to replicate what you are already doing?

Who will leave USC first, Art Bartner or Lori Nelson?

I have seen the UCLA Dance Team and the Oregon cheerleaders this year and while the UCLA Dance Team has two or three pretty girls, they also have a few members who are really not that attractive. Ergo, the Oregon cheerleaders are better and lead not only the Pac-10 but also the nation. Correct?

I want to pitch an idea of a reality TV show which follows the USC Song Girls as each one of them attempts to become the next global internet sensation. Who do I contact about my idea?

Have you heard anything about whether the Song Girls coach and advisor get mad at you for posting pictures of yourself with cheerleaders from other schools? Have you heard anything about what they think of the Oregon cheerleaders and their pictures?

Are you afraid for the UCLA Dance Team when the USC Song Girls visit the Rose Bowl this weekend? I have a feeling there will be some roughhousing and bullying by the Song Girls since they can't beat them on looks and class. I almost expect the Song Girls to ram through the stadium riding motorcyles, wearing doo rags, and chewing tobacco. Do you feel the same way, Scott?

The new song girl squad has already been chosen and will be debuting in January, so has Lori Nelson retained a more professional Photoshop artist this time around to manipulate the 2009 squad's team photograph?

Have you asked Beano Cook how he feels about his name being used on the main page for the USC Song Girls?

Do you know which basketball game the new song girl squad will debut at?

Is there a sense of ecstasy in the USC Song Girl camp over the thought of playing Penn State in the Rose Bowl, where there will finally be an equal and non-intimidating playing field for them rather than having to face the Oregon cheerleaders of this world?

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
