Spotlight On DeRozan

USC freshman DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points Monday night against Georgia Tech so it seemed like a good time to talk to him about the hype that accompanied him to college.
``A lot of people are not in my shoes,'' DeRozan said. ``They don't understand how hard a transition it is from high school to college. Even in high school, I never bought into the hype.''
It was generally assumed DeRozan would turn pro after this season but his slow start throws doubt into that plan.
``That's one thing that's out of my mind,'' DeRozan said. ``I think about that way down the road. I don't think so much about it now. I just go out and play.''
