Versus!
It's now 4-0 for the Versus Conference in bowl games. Too bad it does not make up for the 0-4 on Sept. 13 against the Mountain West Conference, especially from USC's perspective. That helped keep the Trojans from earning national respect and being a serious top-two contender. Now the pressure is on Caesar to avoid being the only Pac-10 team to lose.

What an amazing display of arrogance. The Pac-10 proves you (and many others in the media) so wrong by going undefeated in bowl games, and you point to one week in mid-September to justify your anti-USC bias. And if USC beats Penn State tomorrow, can we expect a mea culpa from you?
Ever since USC's loss to Oregon State, moronic voting and perceived strength of schedule kept SC from playing in the national championship. No surprise to any of this, since we heard this same song in 2006 and 2007.
Proving that humans (and journalists) are creatures of habit, everyone will be scratching their collective heads on January 9, wondering if USC deserved to be playing for the national championship. And the media, proving that it has the brainpower of tinfoil, will repeat these same mistakes in 2009 and thereafter.
Okla loses to Texas by 10..ten...TEN on a neutral field....and they're in the NC game? Yeah right...
The bowl season does make up for the lackluster regular season. The PAC 10 is the shizzle!
