Who's In Charge?

With Steve Sarkisian staying through the Rose Bowl, it would seem a perfect opportunity for John Morton to call the plays. Except for one small problem: At this moment, it does not look like John Morton will call the plays.
A new quarterbacks coach will not join the staff until Sarkisian leaves, so that leaves Morton or Sarkisian (or Pete Carroll) as the remaining candidates for the Penn State game. I'd vote for Morton and let Sarkisian worry about the Washington job.

I think Morton will do a better job calling plays than this play call by committee thing with Carl Smith...I'm sure should energize recruiting.

SC is out nothing if Sark is sent to Seattle pronto. It would probably help.

I'd vote for you not to try and create controversy. Silly Wolf-bag. Go smell your own farts again. Fart-smeller.

I think Pete should hire Wolf to call plays. He is never wrong, but if he were, he could reassign blame on his blog.

I second the Kiffster's comments, but I'd say it's a certainty that we're a better team without Sark.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
