About Hasiak
I got asked a lot on the chats about offensive lineman Stan Hasiak from Hawaii, who recently changed his commitment from UCLA to Cal. The truth is USC never really recruited him that hard. At this point, USC will either sign offensive lineman Xavier Sua'filo of Provo, Utah, or wait and sign more linemen next year.
Why does USC offer kids but not recruit them? Stan said he didn't like the fact Pete was talking bad about other programs instead of just focusing on USC. I found that interesting since it seems to me that USC is the one program that doesn't need to resort to childish tactics like making your assistant coaches go to the media with he said - she said stuff.

To answer your lame question, Carroll does it to yank Slick Rick's chain. Carroll knows that if he offers a kid, Rick will go hard after him even if the kid has no talent. Kind of like what I do with my dog when I pretend to throw something and my dog chases it only to discover nothing's there. That's Rick, and UCLA Football in general, chasing the phantom stick thrown by Pete Carroll. We never wanted Hasiak, we just wanted you to want him. You chased him at the expense of other linemen. Now you have a a bunch of 2 star JC linemen and nothing else. Our plan worked perfectly. Wait until you see what you get with Pressley and R. Carroll. How's Norm CHow working out for you? It's laughable that those idiots Skippy and Yoda couldn't hold on to this kid. Talk about embarrassing! They lost him to Cal?! The kid would rather go to that commie enterprise than trust his college career to the Ruin coaches? Too funny!
I wonder how Norm feels about the OL at ucla. He always said he would like 16 scholarship OL and he was not talking about the fat slow guys that the bRuins are going after.
Pete is desperate. He is afraid. Never before has Pete resorted to talking bad about other schools to recruits. Never before have recruits been coming out talking trash on SC.
This is great stuff for the off season. Ucla is 2 bigtime OL from being King of the Pac 10 once again.

BlewSteal, You don't even have a F'n QB that can throw over two bigtime OLs...LOL When is the last time an aclu QB completed a pass downfield? Did they do that this season?
Bluesteele, Ricks problem is DL recruiting which he completely screwed up last year and is failing at now.
