Given what we know about Manti I think we are making a fatal mistake by having Rey Rey be his host.
I love Rey Rey, but given his checkered past and the latest video of him and Erin Andrews . . . I doubt Manti and him have much in common

I was thinking the same thing 'fightonforlife' expressed. However, the coaching staff knows what it's doing. I do wonder why Stanley haveli wouldn't be the choice. I believe he's Mormon, and that appears to be very important to Manti. UCLA probably thinks it has the inside track because chow is Mormon and from hawaii. We'll see. Do your job, Rey!!!

Fightonforlife, you are waaaaaay off on this one. My wife and I met Rey just before the holidays and he (as well as Kaluka) was the most polite person we've met in a long time. Very respectful and LOVES USC. And then there's that little thing about him being a high first round pick in the NFL draft. Can't think of a better host for Te'o.
I think we might want to trust the Coach on this one considering he knows the players as well as the recruit and his family, while you post on Scott Wolf's blog.

the scoop on t'eo is that he is looking for a place where he can get some national exposure. Can you think of anyone (besides Mark) on the SC team that has had more national exposure then Rey Rey?
Register reporting Burfict is going to ASU. Apparently coaches there convinced him he won't quality academically at SC. Nice recruiting tool at ASU...low standards.
