When Dean Singleton discusses your future, does he inform you that chances are, you'll be unemployed and out of journalism in the next five years?
Just wondering.
If you don't like Scott's writing, why do you come to his blog? The blog conveys much different information than the paper, and gives more of a personality that might otherwise be uncovered. If you don't like it, I'm sure there are a million other sites on USC football you can go to.
Also, does anyone go into your job telling you how bad you are? Maybe not if you're unemployed.

Comment had nothing to with Scott's writing, or the blog itself, but it was just an ironic reminder on how absurd it can be to speculate on the future, especially when Scott's boss is Dean Singleton, who's been firing people left and right, when the journalism industry is collapsing, when many smart people (not you, G.G., any who takes a screen names after a banal 80's movie character ain't exactly on the mental cuttin' edge, if ya know what I mean) believe there may be no print newspapers in next ten years, when the odds are that there will be no DN in three years ...
