Whatever his motivation, we fans owe Taylor Mays a million dollar thank you for giving us another year. He didn't have to come back.
Have Pinkard, or someone else play center field sometimes and get Mays in on blitzes and run support...Mays is too big and aggressive to be stuck by himself 20 yards downfield most of the time.
TrojanSmith is absolutely correct. Mays is too good to be a centerfield type of safety. He needs to play closer to the line of scrimmage. He'd be a terror
Hey T&T, you can say that again.
Mays returning may not be all altruistic. As a late 1st rounder vs a possible top-10 pick, there is a difference of $10 million or so.
Guys...I've been telling you all along he's under no financial pressure, nor is his family, to go pro at all costs. And his mother is insistent on his finishing school. So if you can't give Taylor a million dollar thank you we can all certainly make sure we shop at Nordstrom...alot!
