More Carroll
Pete Carroll explained his feelings further tonight.
``He just wants to. He just wants to go do it. It didn't matter what the facts were, he just wanted to go do it. It was in his heart to go take this challenge on and that just overrode everything that was out there.''

He actually means that he pissed that Mark is leaving and didn't listen to him. Pete showed his true colors to everyone and wait till in the morning when other media jumps on him. Pete, I hope you took a damage control class when you were young. You know that old saying, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it all.
Yeah, that's right. Pete showed his true colors and it's about his true desire of winning. Nobody should blame him for being honest about his will to hold on to his players as long as he can, and his effort to raise the stocks for the players as much as possible by training them to the highest possible level. At least, somebody's candid about his feelings, and it's rather refreshing to see it this time and age. Way to go, Pete!
You all know I seldom say anything directly to other posters, but this 'Cbruin' is an interesting man:
He lectures us by saying 'if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it [at] all.'
And then he goes on to bombast Pete: "Pete showed his true colors...Pete, I hope you took a damage control class when you were young...He actually means that he {is] {ticked] that Mark...didn't listen to him."
Huh, kiddo, you want to try following your own advice and keep it nice. Oh, sorry, I forgot you are a ucla guy and so this does not apply to you.
