``The third new coach, quarterbacks coach Carl Smith, had travel issues and couldn't make the meeting.''
Is that what they call trying to get an NFL job before you even start at USC these days?
Hmmm, that's interesting. I think it was Petros who said yesterday that one of the reasons why there was a falling out between Coach Carroll and Chow was because Chow was always interviewing for other head coaching jobs. Coach Carroll didn't want anyone on his staff who didn't want to be there.
I wonder how long it will take Carroll to turn on Smith???
Looking for another job to better yourself doesn't mean you don't want to be where you currently are. Now, if someone says, I can't stand it here then that is a bit different.
