Brian Schneider will easily replace Steve Sarksian, I am really impressed with Schneider, I think he is the right guy for the job.

Isn't his staff a bunch of guys from Idaho? The problem for Sark is that he has a small window at Washington, three maybe 4 years.

I thought Neu-weasel had the best coaching staff - the "Dream Team".
How'd they do this year?

Far be it for me to defend the Weasel but I think they overachieved with the players, experience, injury etc. and a first year. i think we all recall D-Mart's more aggressive technique approach at secondary gave us a much higher number of int's. I don't buy Holt yet. He claims that he was being held back from creative d line stuff that we so sorely needed. But Sark also claims he was being held back. Both of those guys have a lot to prove after making some pretty bold statements. I'm more inclined to believe Sark than Holt because he was grumbling all along about some of the same things I think most people questioned- over-conservative, bubble screen calling, field position offense. Holt seems to have just not liked his old boss so he's talking smack. We'll see but they probably chose the wrong place if they want back up all that talk. UW is a long term project.
