Sanchez Update
Mark Sanchez just met with Pete Carroll. He said he still has not made a decision but he did get his NFL evaluation back. Sanchez said he spoke to Carson Palmer and hopes to speak to Matt Leinart tonight for their input.
``I'm still on the fence about everything but it's always been my dream to be an NFL quarterback and I love everything here and don't want to say goodbye,'' Sanchez said. ``It'll come down to numbers and who is coming out.''
Sanchez said he endorsed the hiring of Carl Smith.
``I'm not coming back to a 6-6 program. This is an unbelievable place,'' he said. ``Ninety percent of quarterbacks would want to be the quarterback here.''

no one is coming out that I know
I believe that if Bradford stays Sanchez will to go because his only competition then will be Stafford and that would make him a surefire first rounder and the 1st or 2nd QB off the board.
"I'm not coming back to a 6-6 program. This is an unbelievable place," he said. "Ninety percent of quarterbacks would want to be the quarterback here."
From this statement alone, I feel Sanchez has the itch, and he can't get it scratched at SC.
I bet a buck that if he's a projected top 15 pick, he's gone. Getting in ahead of that projected rookie salary cap would be a strong consideration too I'd imagine. Probably at least two of the big names will stay in school, so he'd be getting in ahead of them. I could not fathom MS having any problem going ahead of the kid from Georgia.
The NFL has already announced that there will be no rookie salary cap next year, so it makes no difference to Mark. It is a pure issue of his draft position and who comes out.
Mark Sanchez will be draft between 20-32 in the first round. That is to a good NFL team. I think Sanchez is the best quarterback in this year. I love for Sanchez to come back to USC. But, hw is better off to go now.
