Tebow also rushed for 673 yards. But ESPN analyst Mel Kiper said today Sanchez could be the second quarterback selected in the draft while Tebow would be an H-back in the NFL.
It could be interesting to see Tebow with the Dolphins running the Wild Cat Formation with the jump pass wrinkle...that's HIS and HIS alone.
Tebow is like McNown or somebody. A great college QB but won't do much in the NFL. Sanchez is a very good QB but I'd much rather have Tebow here at SC and then Mark if I had an NFL team.
Once Tebow gets to the NFL they will call him TeBlow.
Sanchez looked very good vs. Penn St in the first half but he did not look half that good in many of his other games. Looking forward to seeing how he performs vs. Ohio St.
I still have a "you're kidding me" reflex whenever I see the Tebow jump pass. As in, you're kidding me, that doesn't even work in the sand lot. Maybe he needs to add a jumping jack or a crotch thrust to it. Even better, he could wear a single white glove and shout "Oooooooh!".
Tebow is nothing like McNown, who is a tool, the most hated player in Chicago Bears history, so reviled by his teammates that rumor is that a sports writer had to head McNown off in the tunnel because his teammates were preparing to jump him in the locker room.

As far as Tebow goes, his mechanics are barely passable and he's not going to be allowed to run in the NFL like he does in college. He seems like a really good kid, but he's not an NFL QB -- like Ryan Leaf.
Sanchez has all the tools, but it still remains to be seen whether he can make good decisions.
Stats are always great when they work in your favor SW. You like to use them like this a lot. Tebow is a great college QB. But it is difficult to compare different offenses, opponents etc. Physically Sanchez is probably a better lock to work the the NFL system. Doesn't mean he will (Ryan Leaf the best example of that). Tebow could do ok but, like Young, he needs a specific kind of offense to suit his abilities.
Cruin, get your head out of the ground, McNown was hated in Chicago, there is no need for anyone to make that up, it is public knowledge, just like his inability to properly park his car at the University of Angela Davis.
