Still not a .500 team. Really disappointing team, both this year and last, given all the hype!
Excellent win in Pullman, especially without Dwight. The Trojans now wear the hat of the Pac-10s best defensive team. Given the injuries (Lewis, Cunningham) and NCAA block of Stepheson, Floyd has the boys playing tough in conference. The Cal/Stanford games should sort out the fight for #3 in conference. A disappointing pre-conference, but if the Trojans can finish top 3, then Floyd will have worked some magic.
Trojan Rick, I'm going to assume you understand that 13-6 is better than .500.....I don't get your point except perhaps they've disappointed some????? Give 'em time. And we'll see what we've got this year. I trust Floyd to get the most out of what he's working with.
Over at UGLA they are crying about how they don't have an inside game and a national championship is out of the question. So they have their problems as well.
SC just is not deep enough to weather injuries to its starting-5. But Floyd is a good coach because he has his boys playing lights-out defense.
