Johnson Update
USC forward Marcus Johnson did not practice today because he was sick. He is considered likely to make the Arizona road trip. He remains bothered by a strained rotator cuff but if he makes progress the next two days, he might be available to play.

USC needs to go 12-6 in conference to give it a fairly secure shot at the tourney. A 12-6 record would probably place USC 3rd, or no lower than 4th. The Pac-10 may only place 4-5 teams this year (UCLA, Wash, ASU, and perhaps Cal, USC, and/or Arizona)
USC went 6-3 in the first half of conference play. Having been routed by fUCLA, USC needs to go 6-2 in the remaining games. USC needs to sweep at home against Oregon and Wash schools. That will be tough with Washington. On the road, USC needs to split at the Arizona and No. Cal schools. A sweep by USC this weekend would to the trick!
If USC goes 11-5 or 10-6, it might need a deep run in the Pac-10 tourney to assure a spot.
